Toyota Launches ‘#1 For A Reason’ Ad Campaign

On February 21st, Toyota launched a new ad campaigncalled the "#1 For
a Reason" campaign. The purpose of this ad campaignis to remind the
people why more individual consumers have purchased Toyotas than any
other brand for three years in a row. The campaign highlights Toyota's
awards received over the years, as well as the sales accomplishments
that have been achieved. The campaign will run throughout all of March
and includes print ads and commercials, as well as internet ads.
Toyota has several accomplishments to share with America. The brand
haswon a number of awards forbeing leaders in both value and safety.
The Camry has been named the best-selling car in America for nine
years and running,and the Corolla sedan has the record for
best-selling car of all time. Over 8.6 million have been sold in
American since the vehicle launched in 1968. The Priusis also number
one, as the world's best selling hybrid car.
Toyota has not only won a lot of awards in the past, but it is still
beating out the other automakers with a number of 2011 awards.
Consumer Reports has chosen three Toyota vehicles among its top 10
picks for 2011. The Toyota RAV4 has been named the top small SUV. It
has a roomy interior, good fuel economy, and optional third-row
seating. The Prius has been named the top green car, with 44 MPG
overall. The Sienna is the top family hauler. This eight-passenger
vehicle is the only minivan that is available with all-wheel drive.
IntelliChoice has chosen seven of Toyota's 2011 models for best
overall value of the year. These winners include: RAV4, Tacoma,
Sienna, Prius, Avalon, 4Runner and Tundra. Five Toyota modelshave also
been chosen by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) as Top
Safety Picks for 2011. These models are the Highlander, Sienna,
Avalon, Corolla and Venza. The winning vehicles are all equipped with
Toyota's StarSafety System which includes traction control, anti-lock
brake system, smart stop technology, stability control, electronic
brake-force distribution and brake assist.
With the automaker's wide selection of cars, trucks and SUVs, there is
something for almost anyone who is in the marketto purchase a vehicle.
Toyota's products meet theneeds of consumers who are looking for
plenty of cargo space or towing capacity, as well as those who are
concerned about safety. Even those who want the most fuel-efficient
car in the market have several options to choose from in the Toyota
vehicle line-up.
This new advertising campaign is just a little reminder of why
consumers love this brand. The commercials feature Toyota's top
